Will these fit for my use? I have an Evo 6 and run 18" Rota's on the road and then 17" E8 Enkei;s on track. Didn't realise there are problems with some nuts fitting... I have been putting the red stell nuts from Rare Rims on both sets of wheels and seem ok... will they literally not fit if no good for car? Sorry for newbie questions

MLR wheel whore - 18 sets

Quote:
![]() Evo 8 wheels should ONLY be fitted with the standard OEM wheel nuts, the ones that look like the silver ones in my pic:![]() The reason for this is the locating lug on the nuts go into the slightly larger locating hole on the OEM wheels, then the flat washer head sits on the flat face on the inside of the wheel bolt holes.Anything else isn't right ![]() Last edited by Si B; 22-10-2012 at 00:53.. |

Oh dear, so I take it I shouldn't of been using these on the Enkei's... Yet they tightened wheel up ok. Oh dear lol |

Well I guess they'd work, just not correctly / ideally. The 60 degree tapered conical end will have been going into a 90 degree non tapered hole

Oops lol... Lucky my wheels haven't fallen off, the action shots of 4 wheels of mine over taking me would be hilarious though
![]() Right then I'm thinking getting these for road and then use standard on Enkei's lol |
