* * * MLR Pace Ward Sprint Series - Round #1 SILVERSTONE * * *

Round 1 of the MLR Pace Ward Sprint Series kicks off at Silverstone on Saturday 20th March.

Course and Cars:
The course will be on the all new 1.15m Stowe circuit – which will be posted asap.
Everyone is welcome and there's a class for all Evos (as well as the Guest class for everything else!). As always we will aim to give entries as many runs as possible throughout the day split across the morning practice and followed by the afternoon competition (to a maximum of 16 runs). All your times will be displayed on the leaderboard at the MLR unit so you can see how well you're doing against everyone else, and how much time you need to find to move up a place!
To remind yourselves of the Rules, Regs and Classes, just click here

Additional Info:
* Pace Ward will be on hand to deal with any insurance queries
* There is no noise limit for the day
* Protyre will be onsite with tyre support
* Passengers can register on the day
* All bookings will receive a PDF info pack via email the week before the event.
* New MLRSS webpage including all Driver and Car details and images will be live soon
* Spectating is free

If you’re new to Sprinting and wondering what’s it all about - here’s the video of Simon Norris’s winning run from the 2009 Silverstone MLRSS Final (which BTW isn’t the same course as we’ll use at Round 1 next month!)

Silverstone Sprint Timetable:
08:00 - Registration
08:45 - Driver Briefing
09:00 - Sighting lap
09:30 - Practice runs start
(08:00 to 12:30 - Scrutineering)
12:30 - Lunch
13:00 - First Timed Runs start
16:30 - Event closes and trophies awarded

Bookings:
On a first come first served basis. Please visit the MLR Shop or call us on 08451 25 26 23. Places cost £129 for the day - although "First Time Sprinters" receive 25% discount

Don't leave your Evo parked in the garage - get it out and join in the fun!

I hate waiting for the sprinting season to start. Silverstone is 4 weeks from this Saturday. Seems like an eternity. Meanwhile we have to get our fix by karting. Hope you're coming next Monday Kins...and Corky?

You're chance to go against me. Every man for themselves

http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=303566

But back to Silvertsone.....will the bogey win by a bigger margine than the Evo 3 did last year? 0.80 secs, Can't wait to see it fly.
