Just recieved the Cobbtuning accessTUNER Pro mapping software today. (i also recieved the first accessPORT for the EVO X this morning)

Straight on the dyno for some mapping. 599BHP. Now more suitable for UK fuel, better throttle response, even better drivability. Little more boost and a little(avg 1 - 2deg) more timing.
More time & datalogging to follow will see even better results. So much potential in the R35 OEM ECU.

BTW some of you guys probably didnt know but some R35's in the states are making 10's look easy

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/e...5d0108c0d4.htm

This R35 just has cobb remapp, front pipe and modified wheel bearings !

Smile White R2 Uk Spec

Well I sold the JDM R35 over the winter to make way for a UK spec

Jumping into the car, things that instantly shocked me were the indictators on the wrong side of the steering wheel ! found myself throwing the wipers a few times. No biggie will get used to it. Was a very pleasent surprise to see an English dash and factory MPH, defo a massive massive advantage over the JDM cars.

The only down side was the MFD (non sat nav) is less high res than the JDM models... (again will get used to it) and i do quite like the hyper LEDS which are not available with UK spec, but i guess those can be added

The new Storm White is stunning in the flesh ! Nicer than the previous white, (sorry jdm'ers).

Drive wise, the UK spec is defo superior on the road, i felt it instantly the suspension improvements, less oversteer. No doubt the UK spec would record a faster lap time on track too. The Euro GT-R team have cleary dialed the car in well. Will be interesting to see exactly how much faster at Nurb in April when Nissan go back.

I believe the fuel ecomony has been improved, and certainly i noticed way less black soot on exhaust tips after a run, compared to a stock white R1 which would be covered (we addressed this with the accessPORT)

Gearbox feels smoother, clearly its come along way since the early cars with crash bang noises.

I've only driven White R2 for about an hour so will report back more. But on the drive back i can't believe still had people trying to take photo's while driving.

Big thanks to Davros and Phillip @ Marshal Nissan.

Dealer making me sign a degree worth of documents stating i won't turn off vdc or tune

Not actually uploading a new map but saving the stock ecu data rom files, the accessPORT does not support the UK spec yet (as its so new), but will do by around tomorrow (Cobb ECU Guru & Calibrator working on the map definitions as i write)

Plans plans plans ? well will have to wait and see... But will say, the last few months have been very busy working on a range of our own GT-R parts inc Titanium exhaust, turbo outlets, sub £450 Y-pipe, carbon aero etc... seeing as a Japanese parts are now so expensive with the 40% drop in exchange rates.
