Smile MLR chosen as UK Distributor for Colt Speed

Colt Speed, the Japanese Mitsubishi performance parts specialists have taken the unique step of choosing the Mitsubishi Lancer Register as their distributor in the UK.

Although currently largely unknown outside of Japan, Colt Speed enjoys strong ties with Mitsubishi Motors Japan and concentrates solely on developing a range of very high quality aftermarket performance tuning and styling parts for all Lancer Evolution models and the whole Mitsubishi range – although we’ll initially be focussing on Evos of course!

This all came about from an introduction to Colt Speed during our visit to Japan last year, and they were very impressed with our involvement in the Evo scene in the UK and how well known we were around the world. For the MLR to be chosen to represent Colt Speed outside Japan is a huge honour and a recognition of our status within the world of Evo tuning, and we’re looking forward to promoting the brand through the MLR.

Colt Speed tuning and styling parts are now listed in the MLR Shop and we’ll be running regular Group Buys through the Forum and Product Reviews in the magazine – and we intend to create a demo car too so that the parts can all be displayed ‘in action’ giving everyone the opportunity to see the quality of the parts themselves on the car, rather than through a bag on a shelf or a pic on the website.

Parts are available for all Evos, but more tuning and styling parts are being developed for Evo X and we’ll make these available asap.

Please call us if you have any queries or email [email protected]

Titanium exhausts are expensive, but the Colt Speed prices shown in the shop do seem to be at the very top end of the market.

Air intake system over £700.00?!?!?

Think I will go for the Airbox Mod instead.

Regardless of the prices, I think Darin and the MLR should be congratulated for giving us the option to buy these parts. As far as I know, some of the parts/material combinations are not produced by anyone else.
