New Works Group N Evo X

This is an artist's impression of the new Works Group N Evo X in its official Ralliart livery.

Mitsubishi Motors UK are in the process of developing a production class (R4) version of the Lancer Evolution X, which will make its competition debut in December competing in the Wales Rally GB. MMUK is currently considering its options for next year and it is anticipated that it will continue to contest the British Rally Championship with a team of two Evolution Xs. Driver line-up will be announced in January 2009.

For further information and to view a development diary of the Evolution X for competition, please visit: www.mitsubishiukworksrallyteam.com

Nice car

Nice one Mitsubishi - When will we see it on the Irish Roads?

Still - I dont think what they done on Philip Morrow was very just
after he earned his place in the team as driver 2.

Ally X engine not as strong as the older 4-9 steel block, so plans for a competetive engine were tried but eventually cancelled by works team, group n spec should be ok at 275 bhp level though,

looks cool, but doesnt look like a rally car tbh, just looks like an evo with livery. Rally cars always look slagged and ready for anything this looks a little soft imo

Them days are long gone I even doubt they will be capable of winning in the PWRC next year with all the new S2000 cars coming out. You may even find Proton will be walking all over the Mitsubishi & Subaru's next year
