So after a coupe of years out am back and in my favourite Evo.
The Evo 6 RS
Don't know to much about the car.
I am told it's true 27k mile car from new.
Spec as I know is -
K's auto rear bumper and skirts ( replacing these with stock items )
ksports front bbk
rota force alloys 18's
Koyo rad
Manifold ( some type of aftermarket )
Apexi boost controller black edition
Carbon spoiler blade
Some other gauges - boost, oil temp etc ( greedy )
Momo steering wheel
ohlin coliovers
3 point front strut ( Cusco I think )
Rear strut ( Cusco I think )
Exedy twinplate clutch
Cooling plate
Hard pipes
Tial bov
Aftermarket oil catch can
It's good to be back.
Plans are to tidy it up.
Good check over and see if it needs anything
Few little bits need paint. Detail it etc
Get stock rear bumper and skirts as I don't really like k's auto ones.
How much you planning to sell the rear bumper? Got a OEM rear bumper that I was planning to cut for the carbon goodies rear diffuser but 50/50 about that.

I bought a second hand rear bumper and sideskirts. Which are currently in for paint.
Also got hks intake. Still to fit.
Had a nightmare with bucket seats. More so the seat rails sitting too high.
Hopefully getting bride rail for drivers side and custom one for passenger so there lower down.
Waste of money the current rails are without cutting them up.
And lastly been collecting a few bits for service.
Carbotech xp10 pads
Oils
Goes in this week for oils and stuff to get changed and full check over.
Next I think is suspension setup and sorting of the seats
Then all going well a change of steering wheel
Everything now fitted and it looks completely different. Really happy with it now. Just few tweeks to sus setup to get it to my liking.
Just to get horrid roof wrap off next and maybe start on underside over winter
Hey there, if you don't mind me asking could you go into more a bit more depth about the products and the process of the detail you carried out?
Reason I ask is because I bought a Black Evo VI GSR 4 months ago and the paint is in a really bad state. I have a DA, pads, compound, polishes, clay, wax, everything I need to carry the job out, but I'm a little scared to undertake the work as I've never done it before and the car is 17 years old with very soft paint and not much clear coat to begin with (If any?). I don't wanna ruin it naturally.

It's quite hard to explain how to go about. Just prep and start with lightest combo of pad and polish and work up in grades till your happy with level of cut. If you cut quite hard you might need to refine the finish after.
Your car looks transformed and much better back in standard guise!! Can i ask, what was the price for the 4 front amber indicators?? (i assume they are from Mitsi...)
Bolts back from being dipped and coated. Double nickel coated
