Just wondering how many Lancer Ralliart Sportback owners there are on here? MLR is primarily populated by Evos so would be nice to talk to other LR owners
So far I think there are 3 including myself.

Had them for a couple of years now, really good and progressive, no fade. Contact Ewan at Clarke motorsport , an MLR trader.
I just upgraded my very worn out brakes to EBC, which seem really great quality. The black Geomet paint finish has a 10 year anti rust warranty! I bought this lot from EBC Brakes Direct (£347.08 delivered) -
PD08KF165 Brake pad & disc kit (front) containing DP4954R yellowstuff pads (with anti rattle shims) & USR1384 fine slotted brake discs
PD03KR234 Brake pad & disc kit (rear) containing DP41407R yellowstuff pads (with anti rattle shims) & D1576 plain brake discs
I used a metal gauze sanding block to clean up the rear hand brake shoes; a wire brush to clean all the rust off; Mannol Super Cleaner all over; a caliper spreader tool and hooks; Mintex Ceratec on the hub face, disc face, pad sliders and pad backs; Carlube silicone grease for the sliding caliper bolts all from Ebay.
On Thursday I'll be taking the car to C1R for a custom set of 6 Hel brake lines (£90 delivered from Ross Sport) and Motul RBF600 brake fluid (Ebay) to be fitted.
In March this year I paid Auto Torque £670 for a full fluids service including SST, plus spark plugs, no air filter (have a HKS one), pollen filter and anti-freeze top up. All proper oils used, Titan Race Pro 5W/40 engine, Millers Gear transfer box, Shell Super 90 rear diff, Castrol DIA Quaeen SSTF BOT 341 SST.
Then in October I paid them £275 for a full fluids service ex SST, plus pollen filter.
I expect to pay for these 2 services every year with them (10,000 miles or so); so £945 per year. Seems alot but our cars are special!
What exactly is included in the service you've been quoted?

Car has only covered 30000 miles but do its 7th service, all they said at mitsi its that much because the gearbox oil is expensive, had all other other fluids done last year and AYC fluid done a couple of months ago when pump was refurbed.
Well, if you're anywhere local to Aylesbury, I would give Auto Torque a call for a quote? They email a proper written quote out before any work, useful for a comparison with the dealer?
From where you are I'd probably suggest APT in Lenwade, just your side of Norwich.
They did my second fluid change, and I drove up there on a Saturday morning and it was done while I waited. Drop Gary an e-mail on sales@ap-tuning.co.uk and he'll give you a quote.
Oddly there is no detailed service schedule of items to do/check etc in the handbook and google just gives the US schedules for maintenance.
I can't find one for UK cars so if anyone could direct me to what is required at 70K for the 2011 2.0L Ralliart Sportback GS it would be appreciated.
Many Thanks.
Brian.

Cheers Alistair, very helpful.
Although its the 70k service ticket in the handbook the real mileage is just 40k, on from the 9k when I bought it. Servicing so far has followed the time interval but I am inclined to go mileage. Hence the question re the service items…I can then compare.
Fuel relay has been done.
Timing chain will be the original as it wouldn't have been done prior to my purchase. No warning lights ..yet ..!!
I use Carnetix in Melton Mowbray for all the servicing. Used them for years and years, still Becky and Glen. Lived just a couple of miles away until we move house last summer, now an hour's ride but wouldn't go anywhere else.
Regards
Brian.
Thanks Alistair,
Pleased to say that most of that has already been done
Brake fluid, braided lines, Hawk pads, silicone water hoses, 3 port solenoid, x i/c, decat and finally the remap. All completed about 2 years ago.
Coolant will be checked as normal at upcoming service.
I'll get them to check the cam belt but nothing in the handbook. I drop Mitsubishi a line to see what they have on record.
Cheers
Brian
I based my fluids servicing knowledge on what Auto Torque have told me. However, it looks like my 2nd service only needed the engine oils changing, not all the transmission too.
Reading Indigo GTs website this evening, it says to change the engine oil every 10,000 miles or 1 year; and the transmission oils inc SST with filter every 18-20,000 miles or two years. I was planning to go there next anyway, to get an SST reteach, remap and engine remap.
Hi All
It's not possible to remap the TCU as it is encrypted. The yanks have been trying to crack it for years now, if they do then it would open up lots of potential for improvement like those available for the GTR.
The only thing that can be mapped is the ECU torque tables, this can improve the way the SST behaves but is more of a tweak but if it is not done well can make the SST pretty rubbish so beware!
You should only need a teach in if the clutch has been changed.
In my experience, so may not be the same for everyone, the gearbox fills up with debris, even if the filter is regularly changed, this will eventually block the mesh filter on the inlet to the hydraulic pump and all drive will be lost! My advise is to have the box split and cleaned out when the clutches are changed, this will save you a lot of pain later!!!
Good luck with the tuning :smthumbup
My Mitsi dealer at Darton near Wakefield/Barnsley has always done services VR-4 and Lancer RA with any fluids and filters that I supply - engine, gearbox, brakes etc...
I have supplied SST oil obtained from Germany - 20L container - so give them required amount and they have never complained or raised issues about it...
A basic question..what ignition plugs are required for the 2011 Ralliart Sportback ? Can't find them in the handbook !
Afterthought ! As the engine has now been remapped to 311bhp will the standard original spec plugs (whatever they are) still suffice or do I need something different ? I haven't had any problems at all since the remap, now some 20k miles ago.
Cheers
Brian.
