| | C.jpg) | | Evo X - UK Arrival Paul Brigden, Ralliart General Manager for Mitsubishi Motors UK, confirms he expects the Evo X to be on sale in the UK from first Quarter of 2008.
The Evo X will not start production until August 2007 and the UK do not anticipate receiving any allocation until September 2007 at the earliest. Once in the country the car(s) will require ESVA, Product Liability testing and also undergo testing for “FQ” upgrades, all of which means that the first cars will probably be available in first Quarter of 2008.
Specifications and images of the Evo X are not officially available yet, but the Mitsubishi Concept-X is rumoured to be the basis of the Evo X

| | | | MLR 2006 Calendar - Out Now It’s taken a while to pull it all together, but we’re pleased to announce that the new 2006 MLR calendar is available now. The calendar features a different design from 2005, but remains full colour double A4 landscape format, and highlights MLR members’ cars and MLR events throughout 2005.
Last year you may remember we sent all MLR members a copy in place of the Christmas edition of the MLR magazine – well this year the good news is that we’ve produced a 44 page Christmas edition of the mag, and the new calendar! However, the slightly less good news is that we regret we can’t do it all for free, so the calendar will be sold at cost through the MLR Shop; £2.50 for members and £4.00 for non members.

| | | | Amazing New Norris Design Demo Car The MLR were recently invited to Norris Designs for an exclusive preview of their new demo car, click here for a brief rundown of the car and some pictures as the final build nears completion.
With a power to weight ratio of nearly 800bhp per ton, this Evo is almost 300bhp per ton more powerful than the old Norris Design Evo 7 demo car!!
To build an Evo this light has meant the car has undergone some major weight loss and incredible engineering, including a substantial amount of the bodyshell being removed to make the car shorter and lower. In fact it is 10inches shorter and 3inches lower than a standard Evo 9 shell. With the shell customised this much, the rear doors have been removed creating the world's first Short Wheelbase 2-Door Evo....

| | | | A Wet Haynes, But Still Good Fun The recent MLR sprint at Haynes proved to be a little too wet for any new records to be set, but was still great fun. The conditions did allow for some fantastic driving and didn't affect the battle between MT-Evo and Gaz@CPP for top honours.
Congratulations to MT-Evo for putting in a fantastic lap to take overall 1st place. Cryptwalk again walked away with best Group B time in his MR FQ320. Well done to RichW too for the fastest 0-64ft time of the day on his 1st visit to Haynes.
