Appologies everybody, I have been in bed for the last 5 days with flu!

As this Sunday is the first of the month and of the new year anybody fancy a quiet local meet?

I havent had chance to do any major arrangements and I thought Rivington might be a good idea.

It is local for all the usual suspects and not to far for a quiet one.[img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/tongue1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle ><!--e4-->

I have my 7 year old this weekend so I can't afford to be out all day.

Pesky, have you got the Exige yet? [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/laugh1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle ><!--e8-->

Kevin
Rivington sounds like a good idea to me. I'll have some nice roads to drive down on the way there.
I've got a bit of a cold as well, probably from standing around watching on Saturday.

Glad to hear you're feeling better.

I pick up the Exige tomorrow - no doubt it'll be p***ing down with rain!

Why not meet at the Wrights Arms in Belmont(between Preston and amp; Bolton and amp; 2 mins drive from Rivington Moor)at say 12 o'clock? Decent bar food and amp; the landlord (Carl) and amp; his son (Neil) are both petrolheads! In fact I was there last night with about 15 of the local Lotus/Caterham 7 guys who are going to meet there the first Wednesday of every month from now on. They are a friendly bunch and amp; would be happy to see EVO drivers there as well.

CU Sunday?

Not for me this time Kevin, I'm only just getting rid of my own flu and I want to make sure it stays gone.
You'll like the Exige though, its a cracking car.
Pesky: Did you get air-con, as they get flamming hot inside.

Anyone going to Autosport to say Hi to the club (and perhaps join [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/Happy.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle > )
See you there if so, perhaps we can have a little inter-club battle on the indoor go-karts [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/Happy.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle >

but hey, any excuse to get out of it!

I've just forewarned the Wrights Arms that approx. 10 of us will be there circa 12-12.30 on Sunday - no problemo [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle ><!--e1-->

Pesky,
Am I right in thinking that the Wrights Arms is the one on Belmont Rd.at the top of the hill on the left just after the Black Dog pub on the right, coming from Blackburn end ?

One more to add, but Im only staying till 1245.

Peely, You're right with the location of the pub. Anybody else not too sure look at http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X|EQU|368263 and amp;Y|EQU|415047 and amp;arrow|EQU|Y and amp;zoom|EQU|3.
The WA is further along the road from where the arrow is and is marked PH.
