View Full Version : Preston N.W. Meet 2 :D
I now have a top route sorted.
Please e-mail me for the route and numbers of who is coming.
I intend to issue all with a full route map with clearly marked waiting points, directions and timings.
Lets try and beat the 8 Evo's and 2 Scoobs from last time! http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/TooHappy.gif <!--e13-->
Date is Sunday 3rd Dec 9.30am at the Swallow Trafalgar Hotel car park at Samelsbury on the A59 just outside Preston.
Count me in http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Happy.gif <!--e1-->
<a href|EQU| mailto:[email protected]
Kevin - I'll be there.
Chunky - We can discuss our favourite cheeses http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/TooHappy.gif <!--e13-->
I'd love to be there but I'm on a works party in Blackpool. Would it be at all possible to have a map so that I could perhaps meet you along the way???
Steve (Still chuffed to bits with his Evo 3) Law
Count me in. If you've still got my Email send us a copy of the route.
For those of you like me who can get lost in Tescos, <!--http--><a href|EQU| http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X|EQU|359964 and amp;Y|EQU|430226 and amp;arrow|EQU|Y and amp;zoom|EQU|3 target|EQU| _blank >here is a link to a map</a><!--url--> which <i>should</i> enable you to find the meetup place easily enough http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Wilk.gif <!--e3-->
J31 off the M6, piece of p<font size|EQU| 1 ><sub>.</font><!--1--></sub>i<font size|EQU| 1 ><sub>.</font><!--1--></sub>s<font size|EQU| 1 ><sub>.</font><!--1--></sub>s by anyone's standards (even mine!).
I think I'll be able to make this one (I'll tell the wife I'm popping out for some milk).
Perhaps we should just go accross the road to the Brewery!http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/TooHappy.gif <!--e13-->
The route is sorted, timed and measured.
I need to know ideas of who's coming. Then I can print copy maps and directions.
9.30 at the Swallow aiming to set off no later than 9.40am.
We will be stopping at the Little Chef at the A65 roundabout, Skipton about 10.15am for a coffee.
If it is better for any of you meet us there.
Please e-mail me if you are coming, if you haven't already, and let me know of any additional people not on the web.
07970 198470 or office fax 01772 749624.
See you there!
The route is MEGA!
I'll meet you at the little chef in Skipy as it means I can stay in bed for a little extra.
And the Preston-Skipton road has been ruined since they striaghtened it out, not much fun at all these days. http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Happy.gif <!--e1-->
And Skipton has loads of speed camera signs but no speed cameras, although if you are unlucky the unmarked scooby will race you http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Happy.gif <!--e1--> - watch out it is blue with highlevel spoiler and is usually driven by a block with a beard.
Don't worry 'bout the Scoob...
I have ways.... and amp;lt;flips cover on gearknob revealing mysterious red button and amp;gt;....of 'dealing' with them http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/image/ez_icons/emoticons/devil.gif
The route has been mailed to all the people who have replied or are on my mailing list.
So Far Positive Yes:
Chunky, Tony C, Peely, Adrian, Pesky, Tim and amp; Wally (Scoobys), Me, possibly Precky and Graham in Brown's new silver Makinen Demo, hopefully with new 18in Speedlines fitted.
So about 10 again, is Andy in the white VI and Ian in the silver V coming from last time?
See you Sunday!http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/TooHappy.gif <!--e13-->
Sorry it's Steven in the white VI not Andy! Anyway Steven are you out there and are you coming?
Ian (silver V) from last time is hoping to attend.
not logged on for a few days and me and Mark Barry (E4) were only talking about when the next meet would be!
I am going to do my best to meet up, but we are at a good freinds wedding reception on Saturday night. All the lads will be there and as usual there will be flashes and bangs.This normally results in a prolonged period of incapacitation but please e-mail me with details at [email protected]
i will do my best!
Browns are now not coming with the demo but it can be viewed at the dealership with the new Mitsubishi supplied 18in GT1's on.
Latest addition, a flame spitting 400bhp R33 Skyline!
