Hi there

Having driven the evo6 tm edition, it seems like there is oversteer when too much throttle is applied.
Does this seem right? I thought that 4wd cars dont have this problem.

thanks

Hi.It is a common thing on all evos.RS version is a bit better but.
I drove a gsr and a rs.Gsr is unpredictable on the limit ,it cuts understeer fastly and oversteers unexpectedly.Rs is a better car.It is very similar with impreza, understeer safely but in the same time oversteers slightly , not unexpectedly.
If you read CAR and EVO you will find out more about unpredictability of evos(especially the gsr).
If you will buy an evo buy RS,it is much better. No computer needed, driver involvement.

RA28 - Do yourself a favour and forget anything our local muppet IMPREZA-P1 says, if you search the archives you'll find he doesn't exactly have the respect of his peers http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Happy.gif

As for the oversteer, did you drive the RS version? The AYC fitted to the GSR will tame the tail in more open corners, but any Evo will step out when given the boot in a tighter bend http://www.ltregister.com/graphics/Wilk.gif
