Hey guys,

Here's a few examples of the many sunstrips I have done.

They are high quality hard wearing vinyl (5 yr minimum) and come precut to the shape of the car windscreens. Each colour is seperate Vinyl so no cheapy sinlge prints here.

have sold MANY to mlr members.

can do pretty much any logo/text you want.

All are MOT friendly (unless you get a real picky MOT station) except the BIG daddy track car only ones. ;)

Fairly easy, you must use lots of water and not rush it, and not install it on a cold day. If a little daunting your local sign shop would pop it on for a few quid i'm sure.

Hi Mark,

yes they fit on the outside, far to to tricky to fit on the inside plus they look naff on the inside as you see the sticky side through the glass.

HOW TO FIT SUNSTRIPS.

some people have their own ways, heres one way.

To fit the strip. clean window well. Then using something like a plant spray filled with water and tiny drop of washing up liquid. spray water where strip will go and spray a bit on the back of the sunstrip, postion and slide strip into place and smooth down and push air or any bubbles to sides, make sure backing is dried before applying logos. Position logos in place with back still on use a tape measure. then put a length of masking tap at the top of the logo to act like a hinge. flip up logo remove backing and smooth down on to strip. Make sure is totally dry before driving or using wipers.

a make shift sqeegee for smoothing down vinyl is a credit car wrapped in a cotton hanky to stop it from scratching.

You can also use a hair dryer to help remove the moisture from the strip.

Dont use wipers for at least a day, and drive of on a cold day after fitting strip as any water still under the strip will freeze and ur strip will come away from the window possibly in a solid state!

Si, fitted mine the same apart from i use the soap/water method for the logo's as well. i just prefer it that way so i can slide them around a bit (just like the decals on airfix kits :D) till i am happy with the positioning :)

Depends on what you find easist i suppose?

Managed to fit mine at the weekend after one bodged attempt. :mad: Only concern is the wipers marking the ralliart logo.
