The more drivers that take part - the larger the Drivers Prize Fund for each class
Drivers Prize Fund supplemented by individual Class Sponsors (see forthcoming thread)
Drivers Prize Fund awarded between the Overall Top 5 drivers in each Class: 40%, 25%, 15%, 12%, 8%
Registration Fee to be paid with or before first booking

DISCOUNTS:

15% discount - 5 sprints in advance eg: 5 x 129 = 645: 96.75 discount. Total = 548.25
10% discount - 4 sprints in advance eg: 4 x 129 = 516: 51.60 discount. Total = 464.40
Please note: All discounted places must be booked direct and in full by calling 08451 25 26 23, are non-transferrable, non-refundable and do not apply to reserved places

PASSENGERS:

Front seat passengers are allowed at all MLR Sprints, but they must wear a helmet and have their arms and legs covered when in any competing car. There will be a nominal charge of 10 per passenger payable on the day.

RESERVE A PLACE:

Reserve places can be booked by paying a non-refundable 50 per event through the MLR Shop (http://www.lancerregister.com/store_category.php?id=18) or by calling the MLR on 08451 25 26 23, and are not eligible for the above discounts. It is your responsibility to pay the balance within 30 days of the event by contacting the MLR on the above number.
Note: If a round provisionally fills with reserve places this does NOT mean the event will be full as a number of reserve places could become available. Therefore a non-reserved list of drivers will be created and any places that become available (within 30 days of each round) will be offered to these non-reserved list in the order they’re recorded

50/50:

'50/50' will allow first time sprinters the opportunity to take part in the full morning session of an MLR Sprint for FREE (if places are available). This includes running in Class, your times being displayed on the board and your car being scrutineered. If you enjoy it and want to take part in the afternoon's competition there's just a charge of 65.
Note:
'50/50' Places will only be available if all fully paid places have not been taken 5 days prior to the event.
'50/50' places need to be registered by calling the MLR on 08451 25 26 23
If places are available they will be offered in order of registration

BOOKINGS:

Places can be booked in the MLR Shop (http://www.lancerregister.com/store_category.php?id=18) for all rounds (except the Final) or by calling the MLR direct on 08451 25 26 23
Please be aware of the MLR's Cancellation Policy (http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=138189)

22B.com:

As per last year, 22B.com have asked if their members can take part in the MLRSS (within their own class), and as we had places available at each round throughout 2011, we have agreed. However, places have been capped to ‘20’ up to 3 weeks before, to allow the reserves to pay their balances and confirm their place. Any places available within the last 3 weeks will be available to all on a first paid basis.

 Cheers Barrie. Let's wait n' see on the "perfect organisation" though shall we?!?

No Castle Combe this year then?!

'fraid not Matt - I wanted to give it one more chance as it's always struggled (wish I knew why?!) but getting a date to fit the calendar wasn't possible unfortunately. . . not that many of them have been easy this year! :blah:

no lydden:cry:

Nope, sorry Gaz! I agree it's a great circuit for a Sprint, but we lost 3000 there last year so I simply wasn't prepared to risk that again! If this year's Series is oversubscribed I'll consider going back in 2013, but only if the hire is sensible :)

Arse ! We have some big clashes !!

Sorry Paul - it was nightmare getting any dates to fit this year, even without looking to see what other Champsionships were doing :(

Will Kames be a Multi lap ? And how many ?

Yes . . . 2 or 3, but haven't decided yet! :D

Darin,is Dario from onboardvision going to let us hire recording equipment this year too?

Not sure yet Goran, I'll see if he's interested and post here when I have an answer :)

It wasn't an error - when Snet told us we had the date, we published our series.. but you can guess what has happened there!

Maybe it's TA Admin that has they're numbers muddled up. Could it be that TA will be using 200 Sat and 300 Sun? At least that would be consistent with running the MLRSS round on the 100 circuit on the Sat?

Hi Plip

No one is muddled... we simply aren't running the sprint at Snett now, due to circumstances beyond our control. :)

When we were there, they used the 200 and the European Drift Championship used the 100 circuit.

Ah, the memories of a great day.:mhihi:

Plip, make sure you see that Corky behaves this year after the trouble he cuased last year. Bllody kids!:shake:

As for the MLRSS, I really suggest you come and have a go in your own car. Maybe a dual drive with Gav? You'll probably beat corky in his lardy 10.

No Castle Combe this year then?!

Bugger :(:(

Have you two been doing some hard praying?!!

Thanks to the hiccup with TA doing another double header at Snett now, I had no option but to move the sprint as its important that they all run on a weekend. It's a real shame as Snetterton was a round I wanted to see in the 2012 Series, but that's not possible now so... the new date and venue for the 6th round is Saturday 15th September at Castle Combe :naughty:

There is a reg thread in the Spring series section. Anyone can have a go and do as many as you want. I only did one last year but it's really well organised and friendly.

I wouldnt worry too much about the class thing to begin with as despite being a few at the top of whats allowed in class, many are running cars that are just into a certain class etc like yourself, just turn up and have a go and see what you think, if you then want to get serious you can look at mods to maximise class potential etc. Also driver plays the biggest part :)

A few do take it very serious but for most its just a great fun day out trying to improve your time against the clock :)....i havent had an Evo for a couple of years now so have been doing these sprints in my bmw and mx5 and having a blast :D

I make it 782.25 with the 10 driver prize contribution and 15% off the 5 most expensive.

Did it in my head though, so may be wrong.

If the rest of the sprints are as popular as silverstone, then might be best to stick a deposit down for whichever sprint you want to do.
You've got 4 weeks before the start of the sprint to pay the full amount. :smthumbup

Oulton, Blyton, Mira and Comb.

Kames and Teeside are 6.5 hrs and 5 hrs respectively. Might change mind closer to the time depending how the season is going lol

Thanks Mechell, good news.

I've driven at MIRA in the past, spent the day on their wet handling test facility many moons ago, I learnt a lot about driving in the wet that day! Access to that facility is now much harder to come by!

I think it is your choice as long as you are an MLR member, you can enter class G, but if you want to be part of the 22b mini series then enter through 22b.
