Is this allowed?

For two drivers to compete in the same car but as separate scoring competitors?

Tom and I are keen to have a crack next year!

It was last year, but whether they change it for 2011, I don't know. I doubt they will.

It was ok to do this year, plus I guess the benefit is you'll have pre-heated tyres :)

Downside is twice as much wear though......

I let my sister do a shared drive with me at Oulton this year (and paid for everything 'cos I'm nice like that). It was fun but a bit hectic as well doing the driver changes, adjusting the seat position and harnesses (6 point) as well as splash and dash refuelling. Still good fun though even after she clipped a tyre wall and bent the tracking :D

My sister reckons that some of the WAGS should have a go at sprinting in their partners cars as it's fun to hit the tyre wall and not have to pay for it :wallbang:

I reckon we should have a new class next year called doubles where two drivers share a car and both have to sit in for the weight to be equal on both runs with an average lap time between both drivers for each run.

If it's a go for next year I am offering a seat to Mr Knoxville in my car :smthumbup otherwise I'm going to give my little bro a go as he's been a great help to me in the pits with all the prep and tyre changes ;)

Cheers

Stu
