Will the Ralliart panel filter give any noticable improvements over the standard item. I changed the standard filter for a K and amp; N element on my Escort Cossie and that did definitely make a difference.

Does anyone have any experience with the filter.

Bizz,
I think that DazMakinen has replaced his with the R/A filter recently. See if you can get hold of him via E-mail.

Bizz,

Yep, I have one. Has made a slight improvement to throttle responce and looks very cool in the engine bay.

I'm saving for the battery re-location kit now which works very well with the filter.

I have always been told that with 'forced induction' it's best to keep with an airbox set-up rather than an induction kit.

Cheers chaps,

I may have too part with some cash and get one me thinks.

Did you see the article in one of the mags on the Forge Motorsport Grp N Evo 6 rally car, they were using one in that.

grp N rally cars can't use induction kit so they have no choice.

with the box type air boxes you will get better throttle response, however with the induction kits you will probably loose some power below 3000rpm but gain few bhps above that. so it really depends on what you want and how you drive :D

I run my Mak with the relocation kit and the RA panel filter and I'm happy with this setup. High quality, good fit, good performance and good looks. Will fit a cold air ducting to it to improve it even further.

Cheers

i had the ralliart relocation kit and ralliart red alloy spacer,ed filter for the last year,
whilst fidling about on a rolling roa recently,we fitted a hks spf filter.......
it makes a f**king awfull row,but its staying on !!
in my case, made a BIG difference

will find an air box to house it before summer,as hot air isnt really an issue this time of year is it !

I also run the RA Panel Filter in my E5 and am happy with the results. It does make an improvement in the engine response, gives a slightly more raspier sound and looks the biz in the engine bay.

Sam

I have seen your posts on Scoobynet for the RR day at Star, I will be going up on the 20th, but not to run, my last RR results are on <!--http--><a href|EQU| http://www.scoobymods.co.uk/SRollingRoad01.htm target|EQU| _blank >Scottish RR Results</a><!--url--> You can check it out under my bonnet when I'm up!
