The Warrior looks the best but its the easy option for people that dont know there commercial vehicles. Thats why more are sold to men that want to seem "rugged" yet settle down on the sofa in silk pyjamas and fluffy slippers:lol:

You need to inform of highest mileage and age mate. Just go for an early year of newest model you can afford. Second in line would be the Nissan Navara, another "true" work truck.

I bought the MAZDA B2500 4 door pick up, and I have to say, when (and if) it ever dies, cause its proving to be bl@@dy bulletproof, I will be buying another Mazda B2500.:D

7k get s you this with 35k on the clock on an 04 plate.

Have driven the Warrior a few times and i think its a good robust truck. Would prefer a Hilux as they are bulletproof.

On personal experience and from what a friend has told me, I'd stay away from the Navara.

I agree with you.

Either buy a van or get a decent saloon/estate and tow a trailor.

If it's any comfort Keiran my old man has the Ranger and he swears by it, I think it's an Isuzu with Ford badges, I think he has the 2.5 turbo diesel, pulls well, he tows a mini digger on a trailer through all kinds of crap back home in Wales :smthumbup

possibly thats why I want to avoid estates and the likes of range rovers discoverys so if it comes to it i can throw my **** in the back and not worry about damaging it

ps if you think i'm going to buy one of them not a chance i would'nt be able to afford the fuel let alone the truck

dont buy a pick up and drive it up/down motorways at 80mph and wonder why it blows up or has problem after problem.

I had a brand new navara borrowed for a weekend before I got the Evo. I loved the look of it but hated every second driving it. If I sell my Evo 7 then i'll be looking for an L200 I think as long as its a better drive than the Navara so that has my vote.

was looking at the navara about a year ago, they drop it value so quickly its stupid, if you need it for work just buy a van, plus vans are much more practical, if you don't need a van then just simply buy an estate car:smthumbup

5 seats **** in the back rules out both

plus for 6-7k don't buy a navara cos the model you'll get suffer from engine failure after 80k+ plus miles look and see you'll see lot of highmilers have had a new engine fitted.

ran L200s offroad for a few years, terrible vehicles. hi-luxs are good, but hold there value quite well. got a couple of navaras we use for the clients, never been in one but they've never had any problems and seem to be decent enough offroad. never had anything to do with rangers but they dont look like theyll be any good at carrying much weight/ working offroad

110 twin cab?

The 110 twin cabs are rare as rocking horse poo and the cabs alone sell for about a grand. Very good if you can forget about the comfort though.
