Just looks like a reasonably priced 260

I don't know the car, but it looks pretty genuine.

Loving the ad when it says " mature owner so no silly bits " . This was the exact kinda 260 I bought 5 months ago and then added the SILLY BITS and will soon see 380 , so gotta love them silly bits LOL

What's wrong with a 260 that now means you won't consider it?

I love mine, great cheap way into Evo ownership and a few simple mods will make it as good as or better than more expensive models.

Not having a go, just curious as to why you'd dismiss what seemed like a good car to you, till you found out it was a 260?

in my mind 260 ownership is the best way to go:smthumbup
Mine after a few mods (silly bits)
Fuel pump
9 turbo
Cams
3 port solenoid
Air filter
re-map
appprox 390bhp

or an FQ 320 for @ 13500 it depends if you are into badge snobbery (im not)

yea I appreciate what you are saying mate and agree in a sense however i just want to buy the perfect car for me that I don't have to modify in any way etc, I just want it to be right. It is at the high end of my budget so wont be able to afford mods on top - for quite some time I think.

on the flip side, what mods and how much money does it take to up the power to say 300/320/360 etc? as I could change my mind if its not too expensive.

cheers mate,
dont care about the badge, just about having to modify it up, just rather get one that is how I want it to be, if yours was for sale, already tuned, then I wouldnt care that its a 260.
