Is the bonnet heatshield on an evo 7 the same as the 8 & 9? just that the look of the bonnet on the 7 is more like a 5 & 6.... just wondering.. as the 8 & 9 have a single hole type vent and the 7 has a 2 double hole type vent if u get me!

These look very cool. :)
AFAIK, the VII bonnet is a different design, including the vents, to the VIII and IX.
Has there been any long term testing on these vents?
I'm interested in picking one up, but am worried about discolouration from the heat seeing as these are sitting directly above the exhaust manifold/turbo?
PM sent about a review for Wastegate Chatter
:)

I am in the same boat but was told that provided I'm using a standard turbo and manifold I should be ok. Have bought one anyway so can keep this thread updated with results

Cool, will be interesting to see how it holds up. :)
If I get one for test / review I'll do some before and after photos for the various sprints and trackdays I have lined up this summer .. sounds like a start of a Wastegate Chatter review ;)

Hi I'm sorry the bonnet shield won't fit on EVO 7
I did try it on Evo7 but the same is different from Evo6 & the screw holes are located a different place

Hi everyone,
I got mine on for nearly 10months running at 320BHP but standard manifold. Still look like new without changing of shape or color.
Thanks
Is there going to be one made for the 7?

Just to let everyone know, I bought this carbon heat shield and fitted it about 2weeks ago. Only drive the car at weekends but when I do drive it a drive it hard so there can be a lot of heat build up under the bonnet. So far the vent is still in perfect condition with no signs of the laquar going cloudy. Fit was perfect and quality is first class. Two quick pictures for you, not the greatest but gives you an idea
