Well as some of you will know i ordered my EVO X RS without the brembo set up , the reason for this being was that i wanted to upgrade to AP's !
The gravel set up the car came with is pants and i managed to set it on fire last week, so they AP's couldnt come soon enough !
I arranged for a friends car to be sent to AP earlier in the year to take all the measurements with the intention of them manufacturing a six pot 362mm front kit and four pot rear kit for my car.
I then had further conversations with AP and they have decided to make the EVO X kit run a 362mm strap drive front disc as offered on there Porsche kits :coolsm: and the latest six pot caliper as used on the aston martin vantage :coolsm: however this has meant that the kits are still a couple of weeks away.
Soin the meantime *****ill i get the first strap drive kit) i have a modified EVO 9 362mm kit (but with the latest calipers!!!!)

No mate its just that when i was developing the kits with AP , i ran a modified evo 9 kit for a while,
They then made a few changes resulting in an evo 10 specific kit, which i am selling above
I just wanted to confirm to everyone they will be buying the brand new 10 specific kit (with top spec calipers and grey bells)

Coolio dude:smthumbup
Iain:coolsm:
John, I saw your brakes when the car first arrived, so i know why you fitted them:D, but are the AP sets much better than the std brembos that come with the UK X's? or is the difference marginal?
I see that these come in two different diameters, so presumably the larger one gives a bigger swept area, but is there a difference in the pad material size etc?
I dont know much about "tuning" cars but I do know that Ferodo pads are one of the best out there. I also know Ferodo did an excellent job in Lord of the Rings :D
And you know all about peoples rings do you Gumbo:confused::crackup::crackup::crackup:
Dont knock it unless youve tried it!
Thats doesnt sound good on my part does it
Anyway, back on topic, APs they're ace! Buy some from John NOW :smthumbup
Dont knock it unless youve tried it!
Thats doesnt sound good on my part does it
:crackup::crackup: No DEFINATLY not :crackup::crackup:
I would like some feedback on them first though, wonder if AP can supply any tech info to back them up?
