The are replacement for the original bonnet air vent.
High quality carbon fiber with wired net in the opening to protect the air filter from stuff flying in during driving.

I had one of these. Fitment was ok, not perfect.

Lost it at 220 km/h, when the mounting clips broke away from the carbon fibre. They are glued on and probably couldn't hold it against the force of the driving wind...

I thought that could happen.... so i have bonded the whole carbon fibre item to the original naca duct so it sits more flush with the bonnet and also there is no chance it would fly off at all!

just got one of these and reading back through mine does not have clips glued on, neither does it have the metal mesh, am I missing something here:eek:

mine has the mesh but no clips on the sides like the orig vent so the fit is not perfect and there are gaps.
