6-8 k is what you would find on factory fitted HID systems and these give excellent light on dark roads.

The higher ranges 10-12 k start giving off a more blue purple light and are ideal for 'show' cars as light spread deteriorates at this point.

Yes i think most peeps take the bumper off when fitting although you gain acess from in behind the arch liners. Wiring them in is easy two wires plug n play.

Kinda answered your own question there buddy its a h3 HID kit if your lights use H3 bulbs, i take it you already have HID lights fittted to your headlights hi low beams so you dont need them?

Hi - sorry my brain is jelly tonight, had a lot of complex stuff to deal with at work and the old grey matter is feeling the pain.

Anyway I have standard lights but just higher brightness bulbs - the guy in Halfords to me they are illegal but they have just a normal colour light just a bit brighter on main beam.

the PIAA spots have a distinct blue tinge when off and I want my headlights, main and dip and whatever else to match.

does that make sense ?

Hello, ok the micro slim line ballasts are great for saving weight and theyre only very small (similar to credit card)

The H4- hi low kit for the evo vi with the slim ballast upgrade would be £109.99 + £10 extra TO UPGRADE to slim ballasts.

Hello yes the deal is still available evo vi headlights are commanly poor and a decent HID kit will imporove it without a doubt. 10000k is not more brighter but its more colourfull.

If its for purpose over looks i would reccomend you one of our 4300k pure whitye or 6000k HID kits,

We can do a easy fit red or white led speedometer conversion kit, it converts the speedo oveer to a brighter LED illumimination

Xenon White LED works if you have white digits
RED LED works if you have black or rede digits

The colour you can use depends upon the colour of your digits, if you have white digits you can use a xenon white LED colour, if you car has black or red digits then only RED led kit would be suitable.

Are these kits true plug and play? Some of the H4 hi/lo kits I've seen require an extra power feed to be connected and 2 earths. Any pics of all the componants of the H4 hi/lo kit?

Basically the std headlights use a h4 hi-low bulb, the aftermarket units use two seperate bulbs for high and low beams

how much of a buzzing from the ballasts are other people getting ? mine are quite loud and can be heard from a couple of metre away when on, heard other kits from different suppliers working and the buzzing is a lot quieter and can barely be heard when running
