View Full Version : Irish EVO 8 for sale
This link will give all the details (http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carid=450951)
IMO this is too dear compared to similar models for sale on the forum. I'm from Ireland and am on the lookout for an Evo VIII, but they're about £2,000 - £3,000 cheaper on here for same spec.

where you looking at them cause 01 evo 7's are should say people are looking for €25-27k for them and some of them ain't in great shape... is that the 260 bhp model
I'm looking at them in the for sale forum on here. Admittedly they are more expensive in Ireland because there's fewer about, but even at that, you can get plane/boat to the mainland for £200 max. I've seen absolute mint condition 2003/04 Evo VIII for sale on here varying from £14K to £16K, approx 25K miles, FQ300, similar spec etc.
I've just found out the reason evos are so dear down South Ireland is you have to pay vrt on our cars, its a vehical registration tax, so even if you went to uk and got a evo cheaper when you register it you will have to pay a perecintage of its value in the irish market so it bumps the price right up.
Apologies now, kinda feel like a c*** for sayin that, but we don't have that here in the North so i didn't know anythin about it.
All the best with the sale though :)

It has a 6 speed box, so not a 260.

You selling her Barry?? What are you getting to replece?
Alan
am looking for a 5 or 6, something a little older,
I am using the EVO for work and as a daily driver and am putting up about 700km per week it is expensive on fuel about 100 euro per week, and service intervals dont be long coming around either,
so I am thinking of getting a diesel van for work and getting a 5 or 6 for the weekends, but I might change my mind and keep the 8 depends on what sort of interest there is in it,
