Evo 3 RS - with mods!!

Posting this on behalf of a mate:

Genuine Evo 3 RS (in white obviously!!)
16" Volk alloys
AP 4 pots
Full Cusco Roll Cage
Full EVO 2 GSR interior
Coilovers/strut bars etc
Recent engine build with EVO 7 pistons
+ mild turbo upgrade, Gizmo chip running 1.1-1.2 bar.
Usual bolts on bits:
- Full exhaust
- Blitz induction
- Dump valve
- Hard pipe kit etc

Long MOT + taxed

Does have the front LSD!

All on the button and quick! BUT small problem with second gear... jumps out if you lift off when accelerating hard. Its been like this for ages and my mate just holds it in with no problems, but yes the box will need to come out and be looked at...

Looking for £4k for a quick sale...

Pictures shown are taken from a recent magazine shoot, so the car looks probably more 'mint' than it really is...!

good fresh car,done the bottom end rebuild on it myself,hope its still going strong.chassis/floor on this car was mint when i had it.

but i spoke to darren the guy who owned it and he said after the gearbox build which was un needed the knock was from crank walk and they then fitted a evo1 engine bought off ashills
just that cant advertise a engine with evo7 piston when i hasnt

My mistake then.

I took the car off Darren in P/X for a Skyline and sold it straight (within a couple of days) to my mate who's owned it since.

I was going on memory and thought it had just had a rebuild...

Take it as a second hand bottom end then!

yes it has had a evo1 bottom end fitted from ashills old evo1
when i fitted his high spec engine
the old lump now fitted is low mileage and had no noticeable crank walk
i know darren got ripped off big time by innovate performance in west kingsdown they identified knocking as box and rebuild it when not needed
if anyone want info on this car i happy to help

yep it had my old bottom end put in it and that had 65kish if i remember right, bores etc were clean as a whistle

Yep, I spent a fortune on this and it was the quickest b2b car I've ever had. Quicker than my recent E6 :p
