Spooky. My 8 is going in for it's 18k service and I also have a set of DS2500s to put in it Mitsi's price for the rears is ok but the fronts are way too expensive. One thing I was thinking about, though, is that the RalliArt service stamp (which keeps your warranty in tact) is a sign that they have used genuine Mitsi parts. Would brake pads be considered a service item or is it just filters etc?
Aidy i thought that the laws had changed
and in fact you could go to any service center of your choice as long as they use mitsubishi parts and within service interval times
Maybe im wrong?
but being stuck with mitsi ridiculous service prices and replacement parts when you can use RGmotorsport etc and get a better service
It's not where you go that I'm talking about but the parts used. You can take your car anywhere that is RalliArt approved, however the RalliArt approval is only gained if they only use genuine Mitsi parts. So having non-OEM pads means it is kinda against the approval system. I doubt it's a big deal, I'm just thinking aloud
Wouldn't be a problem with the pads, but any servicing garage must have the correct diagnostic equipment available otherwise they wont be able to do the correct service schedule.
Thanks to our friends in the EU if you can prove your car was serviced at a garage with qualified technicians to the Servicing standard and used parts of an equal quality, inc oil filters even! your warranty must be upheld. But if something went wrong in the real world do you think it would happen? They would just :moon: :moon: you
