this morning on my way to work, casually minding my own business trolling along 20mph in the left lane in traffic when suddenly an 06 reg punto just cuts me completly, running me off the road onto the footpath to avoid them sliding the side of my car, luckily was driving the merc so it hit the kurb and jumped onto it scraping the wheels slightly.
when i got out the car the punto driver got out too with her partner, they pleaded ignorant for the whole thing and said they aren't from here so they didnt know where they were going.....not ****** good enough for me, they were french
does my nut in how all these foreign tourists drivers come here and drive on their international licenses, map in hand, drive rented cars but do not have a ****** clue about our highway code let alone courtousy on the roads
I have been in France several times and when in Paris couldn't believe the number of the cars with scratches, dented bumpers etc, they just dont give a ****.
Several times we witnessed drivers bump park, i.e they reversed their car in untill it touched the car behind... then drove forward a little bit
not a chance they were going to part with any money, they could barely speak english, i did take down their reg number and i think they were fine with me contacting insurance however theres no point whatsoever as the excess is £300 so im better just refurbing the wheels at £120 for the two.
oh well lost £120 quid this morning for nothing, not a good day
whats more is i have to buy road tax for the evo today aswell, very expensive day
Sorry to hear that mate, lucky you where not in the evo

The worst driving I have ever seen (and it's totally unbelievable ) is in Sicily, where they just come flying out of side streets, crash in to each other etc all as part of "normal" driving

It always makes me laugh that Parisians are always so well turned out with their designer clothes & expensive accessories. Then they get into some battered Renault 5, hit the car in front getting out of the parking space, light up a Gitane and tootle off along the Champs Elysee with black smoke pouring from their exhaust. Tres chic
