*you've already got an e1....so e3 isn't going to be too different
*e4 bigger in size & has ayc if gsr etc etc
*difference in performance is small as e4 is heavier with only approx 20atf bhp more than e3
* e4 handling slightly better(imho) as it doesn't understeer as much but ayc takes a bit of getting used to....
*both suffer from crankwalk but e4 could/will be more expensive to fix depending upon damage to crank, bearings, cradle etc
why not spend a bit more cash and buy an e5-6 (less likelihood of crankwalk)
or spend a whole lot less and make your e1 go quicker ?

they can do....but it's very very rare & not well documented
if you read the long crankwalk thread on here (started in 2005 iirc)...there is an example of on e6 with the problem....
