Gutted for you mate. I know how you feel though. A couple of years ago, when I had my Rover turbo (i was young, so forgive me), I had both of my bottom leg bones broken during training. My leg was in a brace for 16 weeks and I couldn't drive at all - it was horrible. I got my Mum and sister insured on it to save it sitting there for 4 months not being used. Worked out well as they were sharing a car at the time.
All I can say is that at least it's not permanent, and the feeling when you drive your car again is almost as good as the first time you drove it.
It might not seem it to begin with, beacuase all you'll think about is the fact that you can't drive, but you soon think about it less and the time passes quickly.
