I contacted Mitsubishi uk 3 weeks ago they took my details and my car details, then they faxed Japan to see if any recalls had been done.
I called today to see where I stood and got told that I need the suspension are recall which will be done free of charge and that an e-mail of conformation will be sent to me.
I got home tonight checked my e-mails there it was, confirmation that I will get my recall done free of charge, ive just got to make an appointment at a dearlership

hi there mate i've just called them too just to make sure because i also heard that there was a recall on the AYC ecu on some evo 4s, any other recalls people know about? just wondering though what was actually wrong with ur suspension? mines got eibach springs on but its messed up two sets of top mount in the short time i've owned it so was wondering if there was any connection to that? could be just the springs too hard though.... just go another set of dampers and top mounts so i think i might just put the original springs back on instead......
The rear upper suspension arm forms a crack at the press fit portion of the bush.
This can cause a knocking noise, however the arm can come away completely and if you happen to be driving at speed (thats what Evo's are for) your looking at a big accident.

As I live in Malta and the main Mitsi dealer does not get any EVOs, can I check with some one either Japan or UK if the car did have the recall, the car is a Japanese import.
Got an e-mail this morning to confirm rear suspension arms need doing.
Booking in with local Ralliart dealer...
