had a nice little blast down the bypass today with a mr viii.
2nd gear slip road does a 180deg bend then on to the dual
carriageway, both in second waiting for the road to straighten
then away. couldn't resist pulling the data log off later.
bugger missed 3rd but still managed a 18.8sec 30 - 130mph run nice. evenly matched nowt in it.
obviously could improve that 18.8 if going for it from 1st but
how respectable is 18.8?
.
Have you got the grey cav?? I think we had a sprint up to Santa pod once a couple of years ago via dartford tunnel.
I was in a big red thing with about 6 evo's.

just had a check in the haynes and a non 4x4 saloon is
between 1120-1150kg so at a guess 200kg for the 4x4
running gear ?
1350kg, but i have taken a few things off/out est -60kg.
so around 1300kg i guess.
