lol its a bargain untill you find out the engine is on its way out, the diff is knakkered and the clutch is ready for changing, like a friend of mine did when he bought a iv for 4800 he thought he was getting a bargain aswell, he kept telling me before he bought it, i bet i get it for 4k, luckily for him he's in the trade, i know it sounds a bit sad but i couldnt help but sniger when he told me how ****ed it was, saying that you could pay allot more and still get ripped, i think your better off going for one with plenty of reciepts and history so you know whats been done.

i quite agree with danevoIV that is why this car since coming into the uk has all the hstory for evrything done to it. The engine was replaced in sept this year with a evo VI engine and the clutch was replaced at the same time with an exedy one got all receipts for all work carried out from RSE motorsport and AMS in the lake district where the teins were fitted. car is one of the best, no bullsh*t dont take my word for it ask RSE what has been done to the car no expense spared. As said before wouldnt get rid of it only my mother is very ill and i have to take her to doctors and hospital and the car is not a comfy one for an old lady with a crumbling spine. i dont want to get rid but i am having to.

yeah your right he is useless lol, which is why i don't let him work on my evo anymore, he was trying to tell me that the bloke had done somthing to the diff so you couldnt hear it whining untill he did a few miles, the clutch didnt start to slip until he had it a couple of days and did a few launches, as for the engine he should have spotted it was breathing but i dont think he checked, i think like most of us he just went down there liked the look of the car didnt check it properly and then bought it.
