just got off the phone to the guy's at RC Dev, They have booked 18 Places at Oulton Park on the 16th of May.
I have just put my self down for a place, Is anybody going from the Club????

There will be 2 x Warrender 340 Evo Vll's (actually 349 Bhp @6930RPM. 1.4 bar Boost 313 LBS/ft Torque) Red and amp; Black. We have also decided to let Max @RC Developments loose on a New Subaru,(this is top secret)At least we will all be able to compare the two cars at Oulton.

Spectators are free, to go out as a passanger it's £10,
You will have to check with Jenny but Spectators and Passangers can pay on the day!!!!

I'm meeting up with Clive,max and Jenny at RC Developments, in Warrington.
I think we are all setting off at 8.15am...........
People are are on the track from 9.30 or 10.00am.
If you are driving on the track the track/drivers meeting at Oulton is at 9.00am.

If you have a helmet bring it!!!! Even if you are just going to watch as you never know who will take you out as a passenger!!!!

I have booked the full Oulton circuit!! So don't worry guy's!!! Its all for the taking!!

As for a flag system, all will be explained at the drivers briefing, so don't worry!!
But If you get a Black flag........................ It's not good - your out-a there!!!

I managed to book two space from Jenny on Wednesday. in my opinion, Oulton park is not easy for beginner, especially when the more exprience drivers comes too close. I spunned out twice already.

I think if you can just concentrate on your own driving and not be bother with what's going on around you, you will enjoy the day.

Of course if you are a very good driver , then the story is different.

I finally got round to doing my first track day yesterday, at Oulton. Great fun - good to meet Laurence and also the RC people (thanks Jenny for organising things). I need new tyres and pads now (they were on their way out anyway) - but it was worth it. Turning in too early and braking too early as I was being outbraked by a 5 door standard Escort Si!!! Turned out he was a racing driver learning the circuit for a F Renault test today. He gave some good info - leading to a shortened braking distance in subsequent sessions! When's the next one then?

I sat in the white skyline to look at flames from my car, that's the only time i get to see it.

Thanks to all the guys that help me push my car for 20 meters to the Shell petrol station.

I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU to everyone!!!!

It was a brilliant day and the weather was just right, Thankyou to everyone who came to watch, and PLAY!!!
The response was amazing and if you¡¦re all up for it I'm now starting to take bookings for Silver Stone next month!!!!
As usual we will have the pit lane and garages so trackside support will be available.
If I get enough Interest with regards to Insurance I am hoping to get a group discount, also offering for beginners and for people who don¡¦t know the track Instructors to be at hand.........
Don't worry I will be offering Slick to rent on the day, so you don't damage anymore tyres. Ha Ha ...... ( Kevin )
