these are 18 x 8's that were on an RS450 (see pics below)

ive been offered them for sale (they've only been used for 25 miles, same goes for teh Dunlop slicks). I have 2 questions:

1) will they fit on a VII ?

2) any ideas of tyre size for 18" and how much ex-touring car slicks will be in that size ?

They are Compomotive MO's, I have them on my E6 (8x18in ET35, standard E6 wheels are 7.5x17in ET38). Should fit on you E7 without a problem as advevo says.

They are slightly heavier than the standard wheels so unsprung weight will increase (from memory they are about 14kg, std E6 wheels are about 10kg), bloody easy to clean though! Cost about Ģ130 to Ģ200 each new depending where you go, Co-ordsport are quite cheap for them though (or were, don't know now).

As for tyres then 225/40R18 or 235/40R18 will fit (225 the prefered option, for me anyway. Bear in mind standard E7 tyres are 235's). A lot of people run Evos with 18's and slicks on trackdays so I assume there is plenty of rubber about for them.

thanks guys - looks liek i'll go any buy them

mind you cos they're are more rallytype wheels and could go well with a black car they might end up being my road wheel and i'll keep the standard e7 rim as track rim.

Jackal,

If you get these fitted could you post some pics? I'm thinking of putting 18s on my black E7 but not sure how they would look.

Reims96 - 40 sets at Ģ120 for 4 comes to Ģ4800 :D
No wonder your petrol is so bloody expensive ;)

light rims are less strong

compomotive are rally wheels are a bit heavier but a lot stronger

so it depends what youre doing with youre car. if you want strong light one get magnesium wheels they cost a fortune but they are strong and light.

antsevo the wheels you have i already have seen broken ones. if you use them hard on track for road use no problems

i want strong wheels and don t wanna get an extra morgage on my house to pay them so compomotive for me and i really like the shape of the 18 inch compomotive wheel it looks brutal and nice to clean and they are strong.

Just ordered a set of MO 6 spoke in white with the new Eagle F1 GSD3 tyres directly from Compomotive. They undercut my cheapest quote by Ģ50. Because of their design I am having to buy their own locking nuts.

Looking forward to getting them. I'll post a pic...

Ordered them cos I thought they looked nice in the pics posted at the start of this thread.;) ;)

The car was temporary fitted with Spanish plates I guess till its registration. Although registration of cars with Spanish plates had problems to get the car running legally in Belgium.

A lot of the LHD cars come from Spain; a lot come from Germany, very few from Italy (more expensive) and some come from Xtreme :)

The reason that they come from Spain is that there is no ralliart France or Ralliart belgium, isnīt it?

But I donīt undertand why they have the plates fitted, they arenīt new??
Here in Spain there arenīt a lot of Evos, almost itīs difficult to see them :p

That is so that you do not get stopped or followed every time you drive by a policeman.

The cars are new when you buy them, then after a while, they arent anymore :)

Claudius, very funny, evodick:D

I mean that itīs more difficult to see an Evo in Spain than in England for example. There arenīt any EVo I, II, III, IV in Spain. And Ralliart Spain only brought 38 Evo V, and only in Rs version.
A bigger quantity of Evos VI, T.M and VII were sold, but I donīt know how many. ;)
