View Full Version : Vibration when lifting clutch ???

okay, on my VII, when moving off from a standstill as i bring teh clutch up i get this nasty vibration right through the car. When I am moving along with a little bit of momentum, or teh car is downhill and i pull away its less noticeable meaning that the force needed to physically shift teh car is causing this. Also, when moving along and downchanging I can just about detect it. It does get a bit better if i dial in more revs (liek 2000) but its still there and obviously needs sorting asap.

Any ideas whats going on. Presumably must be something to do with the clucth but the car is brand new ! I read something about Clutch Master Cylinder problems on VII's so maybe its to do with that ?

Is the vibration from the clutch pedal?

I have a twin plate clutch and it vibrates sometimes. I believe it is because the design of clutch has no spigot bush on the end of the gearbox input shaft.

no, the vibration is like through teh whole car, steering etc..

Sorry, can't help. Mine is just on the clutch pedal.
