Is this a good idea?

I've just put some Pagid RS-14's on the front of my TME - these should stand up to the rigours of track use OK. However, i think they might be overkill for the general road driving that i do. Can i run normal Brembo's for road use and stick the Pagids in for track days without buggering up the disks?

The RS14s are fine for the road. Plus I dont see what the point of doing this would be. You might get uneven disc use, although I doubt the OEM pads would do much harm

Thanks Claudius - didn't explain my self too well. There tends to be a lot of cold braking on the road, i was wondering whether the Pagids were as good in that circumstance. I've used them a bit now and they seem to be OK, so I think i'll stick with them.
