does anybody else find... when you quote a reply and are typing away, click on a smile at the side - and it drops it in at the very end of the message? u have to cut and paste or do it by hand like : : )

When I use smilies I do not know the shortcut for, I select them while I type, otherwise they go to the bottom of the post, as you say, not to the curser position.

BTW, Dave, I noticed an incompatibility between the smilie with the sunglasses and the green one with the cigarette: they both have the same short cut : cool:, so only the sunglass one works. What about renaming the other one :smoke: or pimp or sthg?

The place they go is the end of the text. Afraid this is more a limit of web technology used than a fault with the board.
