Looking at the photos...

Do you have to remove/unscrew the aerial to fit the cover?

Thanks

Don't all VII's, VIII's and IX's have stubby roof mount aerials above the rear screen?

Hi

Please put me down for a Webflex outdoor in grey for my evo 8 mr

i've seen some car covers that allow you to keep the aeriel on the car, if the covers are bespoke then perhaps they can allow for the aerial to be in place ?

also do we get to know the supplier's web page so we can check out the product and get more info ?

cheers

Raj

I do not want to be too fussy... as they are a very good price. But I agree, all the custom "These are not a one size fits all, these are tailor made for your specific model " Covers I've seen when searching on the forum have the "cod piece" to cover the aerial.

Personally speaking I would want a cover that fits without having to remove parts of the car. As I say, it's just a personal thing as I would want to whip the cover on for a couple/three days at a time (mid week). The other problem I've had with removing aerials in the past has been when moisture has collected in/on the thread and corrosion has set in (generally making it impossible to take on and off without the use of pliers).

As I said, I don't want to sound ungrateful of the group buy, and it is a good price, but I would generally hope a "custom" cover to fit without the need to remove bits.

Cheers
Mark

For those of you worried about aerials, if you mention you have the standard aerial fitted at time of purchase they will add a velcro slip to the cover to allow it to remain in place.

Just a thought on the need for an aerial cover. Does the aerial unscrew easily? Can you imagine fitting a car cover and making sure it doesn't get caught on the aerial and cause any damage together with how awkward it will make the whole fitting process.

Surely a lot easier to quickly unscrew the aerial first and then slide the cover over the car?

Hi Group buy organiser

did anyone confirm whether the covers come with a "condom" (for lack of a better word) for the aerial ?

i'd not be happy at removing the aerial whenever i use the cover since over time i would expect a weakness to show from the screwing and unscrewing of the aerial

as mentioned earlier since they are supposedly custom made, and we have a lot of orders, can we get covers for Evo 8 MR's that have a integral stubby aerial cover ?

i've seen some car covers made by other companies in the style i am looking for, and i wondered if this supplier can provide them too ?

regards

Raj

Sorry for harping on about this again but just so I completely understand... as I must be being a bit slow here.. ;)

The addition to the design for the aerial is:

1). A "condom" (for lack of a better word) for the aerial ?
2). A slit in the cover that can be closed with Velcro around the a base of the aerial (although I guess this will still allow water seepage )?

Sorry for being a pain, just want to be sure/clear before I order.

Cheers

Cold North ?

Where do you live ? North East sounds like this way.

A cover would sure be interesting as the car often is outside. Allows to keep it ice free.
I am just unsure what happens when it's -35 for a few months. Cover could well break.

The price quoted in the shop is the price you will have to pay plus delivery to your country.

The Group Buy finished a while ago, you cannot get it at Group Buy price because you were not in the Group Buy.

Wolfy there is a heat on vinyl we can get hold of but it has to be applied by special heat press not just an iron. Same thing you see on football shirts etc for numbers/logos

What material are the covers made of?
