I've just provisionally booked a day at Goodwood with Bookatrack on 25th Feb (Monday).
Does anyone else fancy doing it? Be good to meet up with other Evo fanatics.

Steve,

This could be a good way to kick off the 2002 trackday season, and not too far for a change - how much is it?

Steve.

It's £139
See below

and go to track day calendar

Cheers

Steve,

Looks good - I am booked provisionally. Will be in the spare car as the Evo still needs a couple of bits sorting to be track ready.

Hi Steve |PLS| Steve

Easytrack (www.easytrack.co.uk)have a Goodwood day on Saturday 16th Feb at the same price of £139 so maybe more people (like me!) could get along than on a Monday. Cant get thru to the Bookatrack website anyhow - seems broken. Go for the 16th and I'll come along and fry another set of disks :).

Darryl,

Sorry for the delay replying, I'm travelling at the moment. I can't do 16th as I have other commitments and also I'm trying to do weekday trackdays to keep the wife placated. I'll probably do the MLR trackdays even if they are on a Sat/Sun.

Rosco, Blade,

I have paid up for Goodwood on 25th - you still coming along? Also, anyone else up for this, I reckon it won't be full and there will be plenty empty-ish track :D

Yeh, looking 95% good for me - I reckon it will be quiet. Be good if it went open pit. I think the 4 sessions thing is a Goodwood limitation, so open pit isn't likely.

Still, we may get to run in more than one session! FIngers crossed!!

Only 40 cars max anyway, 10 at a time...

Car won't be complete, but at least it will be running...

Steve,

It's a maybe - I'll see if I can negotiate the time off work (busy period :( ) Am getting trackday withdrawal symptoms and will need to give my new brace of (strut) braces an airing soon :)

Steve C, what you doing in the Novices session? Thought you were an old hand at track days?

There aren't any really high powered cars booked so far, which is odd - Goodwood being a v. fast circuit and all.

The other thing I will need to check is the noise from the new exhaust - they are v. strict there, and may not let me on :(

New exhaust does have a removable baffle...

Yeh I'm definately going, got the all clear with the missus!!! Just need to stick my hand in my deep pocket and pay for it!

Blade
last time I was there I think the limit was 95db static, but the one they got someone on was the drive by measurement!

I'll see if Bizz is going to come as well, though I very much doubt he'll take it round the track as his VI still gets pampered! Should be a good turn out after all.

Blade,

Usually Goodwood is 98db unless its one of the 105db days, which 25th Feb isnt. But you probably knew this already :)

Blade,

I've only done 4 trackdays so I'm still a bit of a wuss :) There were 4 categories, beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced so better go in a session where I can go past people - plus I'm in my Pug 205 which is only putting out 140bhp!

Jackal,

Are you in Lotus or Evo for the day? See you there (I will be in black 205 but waring my Ralliart cap so MLR people can spot me).

Anyone else up for this?

Steve.

I am defo not going now - although I have had the noise sorted, so could get on the track, it meant pushing out the GEMS mapping - which will be going on at that time :D

Catch you on the next one. I have got the green light for 12 in total from the missus, and have already got a list of 20 I want to go to :D

Oh dear.... in trouble again!

Looks like I won't be able to make it now either! As a consolation I'll be going to Brands Hatch on the Sunday before instead! I see there are four Evos already booked up on it, anyone from here?

Guys...... looking forward to Monday. Glad there will be one or two Evos there, as since departing from my VI its taken me a time to replicate the same kind of laps times in my Porsche, and I am not sure I've totally managed that yet either.
