I have been asked for another day @ Emerald In Watton as they get quite bussy i have gone for a date of 29th October.
Anyone intrested in running please put your name down, we will run 15 cars £30 each.
I am going to lean on Dave to calibrate the 2nd phase of his rollers so we can push over 500BHP this is to be confirmed.

Liam (LR6GSR) was talking to Emerald about adjusting the rollers for big power cars last time we were there. Might be worth giving him a shout :)
Dave at Emerald is on holiday but i will talk to him when he returns, the rollers can be calibrated to cope with 500+++

Hi, Can my mate bring his maserati syder? Only trouble is he has to be back up north in the afternoon so would have to be one of the first runners?
I for one would love to see and hear a Maserati run so great stuff.

We like to see something different so why not.
Ask him if it has traction stabalisers and stuff, some cars cant do a full power run cos the computer cuts in. Porsche 911 and Audi TT are some we have come accross.

The guys have been great over the last few years and i thank them for that.

Ok mate.
Heading into Watton from Norwich. Just keep on the Watton Road and just before the traffic lights where you would normally turn left for Tescos is a left hand turn.
Turn left in there and you'll see Emerald on your left.

Hi Liam,
At the moment I can't give a 100% assurance. My PowerFC isn't here yet, the car failed MOT due to emissions (6% CO, should be 0.3%), so have new lambda sensor that should be here tomorrow, fit and retest. Remap then on Friday. But I do still aim to be there and to hopefully run.
So alot to do, but very frustrated waiting for bits to arrive!!
But if I can run I will. Sorry to be a pain!!!

Well my ECU hasn't turned up, so I've had to cancell the remap, so won't be able to run on Sunday. I still intend to come and meet everyone, but I was looking forward to running the car, but it wasn't to be!!

Well just back from Emerald, i would like to say a massive thanks to Liam for organising and running a great day that seemed to run faultlesly,
Emerald and Dave Walker did a great job and were top hosts being both informative and thourgh in what they did,
The food and drinks that were put on were very much appericiated,

When standard cars run bang on standard figures it can only be assumed that the modified cars are also running figures that reflect their *real* credeintials. I for one was well pleased that the figures were not ridiculous, like many RR days I have attended *up north* (well lane, etc) in the past.

Dynamix the general opinion is the rollers are spot on.
The Scoob running in a different gear was a ?? not sure why.
But most made the figures i would expect with the mods. Some had issues that need fixing.
The interesting one for me was Nicks TME 316 on a std air box :)

cool - will have to give them a bash up there - it is certainly my most local RR facilty
Mine was lower than expected, but boost held at 1.3 bar rather than the 1.4 - 1.5 that it runs on the road (a number of people have noted that maximum boost is never achieved at Emerald without some tweaking of the boost controller, and I can't be @rsed with that!)
My graph also shows a big drop in torque before 4k revs, and that definitely doesn't happen on the road. Dave guessed that this might be ignition being taken out by the ECU (maybe due to inlet temps?)
Given all of the above, I doubt that the figure was too far out :)
And the sandwiches were very nice as usual :D
Dynamix Emerald have stopped doing Club Days this was thier last :cry:
I hope to perswade them to continue but they most certainly wont be running new days for the imediate future.
Of course you can book roller time with them on an individual basis i am sure :)

Power was down due to the car's ecu being in safe mode.It hit 1 bar of boost then dropped to 0.7 bar,big shame as if it held 1 bar it would have made the magic 300 bhp and 300 lbft!! :eek: :eek:

Sorry I had to leave early and didn'tget to see yours run.....
Not sure it would've made 300 / 300 if it had held boost. I don't think 0.3bar of boost is worth 45bhp :confused:
Mine dropped aout 0.2bar at the top end as well which probably result in about a 5-10bhp loss.......... :rolleyes:
If i can get another date you will see me post, i would like to say March ish give every one time to work on their cars :D
