View Full Version : Nitrogen charge for 3-way Proflex?

Does anyone know what should be the Nitrogen pressure reading range for 3-way Proflex dampers?

Should it be the same front and rear?

I have heard the charge should be in the range 5-8bar, but I would like if someone more knowledgeable could confirm or correct it.

I managed to find the answer, so I'll post it in case anyone is interested in it.

The correct Nitrogen pressure is 12-13bar, but given that the size of the Nitrogen reservoir is very small, just by connecting the manometer some Nitrogen will be 'lost' filling the hose, thus giving a very false reading.

So don't panic if you get a very low reading, and don't forget to have some Nitrogen handy if you are going to check it (most racing teams have it).
