my dad had the power flex bushes on his cossie and we liked them. what do you guys suggest in the way of uprated bushes on an Evo6?? power flex or ralliart group n? anyone had any good/bad experiences with either? Blade i assume you have the power flex bushes??
Regards
Umreet
I have had both. Group N are good, Powerflex are better. Custom powerflex at 90 or 95 sure are even better :D
THe more you stiffen the chassis the more benefit you will get from changing bushes. Some bushes are group N only, such as the steering bush, rear diff bush etc.
I have seen 2 to 3 mm witness marks on the front wishbones and rear arm for example, where the loads have been high on braking and accelerating.
FOr a road car either Group N or Powerflex are fine.
I`ve heard that bushes such as proflex can raise interior noise considerably, is this correct??
Rich :)
of course it is correct, but they are Powerflex, not Proflex :D
allows more vibration and noise in the car.
Doh!
