i have been thinking of putting on 19"s and just checking previous threads i noticed you had ordered supperleggeras.

have you got them on the car yet and if so whats it like.

after weeks of searching i have gone down the OZ route , i prefer other styles but none fit the evo.

basically mate what do you reckon.
could i ask what you paid and where you got them from.

cheers

I was also going to get 19" supper leggars when my last set of tyres worn out .

but was told by varius places , including demon tweeks who phoned OZ while i was there that they would not fit an evo .

went to trax on sunday and there was a gourgeous looking black 5 there with 19" supperleggara , the rears appeared to be a straight fit while the front had a 3-4mm spacer fitted .

so as soon as these tyres wear out (not long on an evo 6k miles ussally) i will be getting some 19"

ow what im getting at is they WILL fit

just recieved this e-mail from ufuevo (thanks mate)

FOR 19"
Looks great
Handles great (on smooth road)
Being different

Against 19"
235/35/19 rough ride forever looking out for pot holes/drains
£200 a corner
Would need to fit lowering springs or woould sit very high
May rub somtimes when cornering very hard or packing a load

Haveing Forge 3 point front and 2 point rear top suspension bars fitted
next week, this should make ride smoother and steering sharper.

Hope this helps ISTY

the conflicting info i am getting is doing my head in.

i want to go for 19"s just for the look but not at the compromise of the handling.

18" supperlegarras Rich?

probably the best option.
i got a price of £1590 for 19"s with toyo proxos, but like you i reckon i will go with 18"s too.

Hello. :) Sorry missed this guys, should of PM'd me.

Right, Yes I have got them! They are in antherite (mat) The ride is no where near as harsh as I was expecting. Yes I avoid most holes just in case and the car feels more Solid, you can tell the difference but they look the ******! I can honestly recomend the 19's just do it you know it makes sense. :D

I only got them on this evening, but am well chuffed with them. I chucked it round a local roundabout a few times before and it stuck better than ever, no tire roll atall!

I love um and dont know why anyone would have anything bad to say about fitting 19's.

Also I had 2 people in the back this evening and it didnt rub once!

Do it! ;)

Just to add They DO, do Oz in 19's to fit the evo I have the proof, what you need is a 3ml spacer for the front so the wheels passes the caliper.

Size wheel: 8+19 tire: 235/35/19

I got mine for £1615 from Wheelbase Manchester 01616280000
Do a serch I'm sure they have a website.

B.t.w Wheelbase didnt know untill I said, that oz in 19's fitted the Evo.

wheelbase told me on saturday that oz do not do an 18" or 19" wheel to fit an evo. yet you got them from them.

i will give them another call.
can you remember who you spoke to.

is your car lowered / stiffened.

thanks for the info mate, i had acctually started getting quotes for 18"s till now.
