Take off the wheels
Remove broke hose from guide in strut
Undo lower fixing points (watch it, brake disc will come forward)
undo top mounts
Do whatever you want to do to your suspension and put it back the other way around.
Should take around 3 - 4 hours for 4 dampers if the person is not used to doing it.
(Lowering springs are not recommended because they alter the stress on the damper without altering the hydraulic settings (bump and rebound) and a possible result may be premature use or even failure of the damper. Handling will not be optimum either with less damper travel than the damper was designed for.)
You don't have to undo the three top mounts on the front. Just the nut under the rubber seal, as I found out yesterday.
Claude is right it's not recomended to fit just lower springs, but it makes a hell of an improvement over standard. Had mine on for approx 8months without any problems and am now changing to Drummonds once I get all the bits through!!!
