Difference in front suspension

I just noticed something strange while checking my brake discs while finishing my brake ducts.

On my TME the lower front arm assembly is a one piece cast item whereas in the workshop manual and on my mates RSII the lower arm assembly has a lower arm bracket assembly so it's a two piece item.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

They are different, like the turbo, front bumper, seats, etc.
