Big thanks to Nick, Chris and Luke at NR for all the hard work on my 6 and Dave at EARS for the supply and fitting of new outer CV's.

New RS Diff, new driveshafts with ABS outer CV's, ARB's front and rear all new bushes in suspension arms, new gearbox , clutch and Flywheel, Move of battery to boot and re alignment, and new harness installed.

The difference in the car is astounding, i wish i had junked the AYC years ago.

cheers guys, air con out next and roll cage in.

Good to see you're happy with it John.

filsevo recently had an RS diff fitted and reckons it has transformed the car - and here's me possibly going back to ayc :(

I don't think I could tell the difference unless I took a GSR then an RS out on the same bit of road on the same day !

Hi Geoff

yes all in and working just fine, even retained my ABS , comes in useful with the carbonne lorraines as they are very very sharp.

The whole backend of the car is transformed, especially with super sticky do1j on a warm day, no room for mistakes but the car telegraphs what it's going to do and is extremely easy to control, all the unpredictability of the AYC is gone , I finally have control of the car, I can see I will be changing tyres quicker than anticipated at this rate. :D

It's a whole new learning process though so I think a little caution will be evident for the first few track sessions to find the limits on slicks.

thinking about it Cadwell is probably not the best place to learn this so I think i'll pop over to Brunter's for a few hours to learn on wide open tarmac.

see you down on a southern day soon

john - let me know when you are going to brunters - Ill pop along to have a play too :) Ive got some new stuff to practice breaking!

Geoff - you can tell the difference easily between AYC and RS diffs if you drive it hard enough!
