I posted a very brief ditty on the yahoogroup about this kit. I got two very |PLS|ve replies. Anybody else with good things to say about Drummond? I'm contemplating having it fitted by Ralliart if I can win the elusive lottery! [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle ><!--e1-->
DMS is quality kit , I'm fitting the giant strut version to my VI GSR within the next month or so.
I have examined most of the options and DMS is the one , have u seen those 50mm diam front strut legs!! I've seen aircraft with less impressive landing gear!!
Most of the Ozzy rally Evo's are fitted with it , and I noticed that Co-Ordsport were offering a version at the Autosport show.

What do you think of Coordsports price for it fitted - it works out at about £1800. It is obviously good but at a price!
Have you found anywhere cheaper?
Are they single cylinder with separate and adjustable gas tank?

Yeah, are they?
BTW, remember that if you get 50 mm instead of 45, you're getting the reinforced version for desert / dirt roads. They are more resistant, but heavier ie. less good for the road because you increase unsprung weight unnecessarily.
yes, a lot of Australian rally evos are fitted here with drummond. They look like really good quality.
R and amp;AHP,
Yeah , thats a good price , the last time I checked with the importer I was looking at £2250 without fitting , although this isn't a problem as I can install myself , but , is it the same spec or a special for co-ordsport?
Perhaps it cud be worth looking at an Oz source.
Maxi/Claudius,
No , they are monotube design without external reserviours , not needed because of the large internal oil/gas capacity. Also despite the huge piston diameter they do not have a weight penalty.
A major benefit of the large physical dimensions is that internal fluid flow and velocity is greatly reduced compared to conventional designs , consequently operating temperature is significantly reduced , this ensures stable damping characteristics.

I said I would have this kit from Dudley. However, they are waiting on a back order of Ralliart bushes from Japan before fitment - will let you know! Will have a set of HKS springs if the kit arrives soon! Brand new and boxed!
I'm a new insiders of Lancer Turbo Register. I order a DMS 40A Gold damper kit and also the original upper mount. I try this damper on Civic Type R and Integra Type R and it's very comfort at low speed and very stable at high speed. For the road condition in Hong Kong, rough, it can keeping the tire touching the road surface in rough condition, unlike other aftermarket bouncing damper kit.
I have the 50mm set on my 5. Love them. Worth every penny.
I've installed the damper kit 40A on my car and found it really perfect for road use. It's comfortable and can absorb the uneven road surface on the road in corning and will never lost traction easier.
I have the 60mm dampers on my VI with adjustable bump and rebound. V. Good. The springs I think were double-progressive, and not so good for my application, so switched for some linear Eibach items with firmer rates.
I had some Leda coilovers fitted about 14 months back and they have been brilliant.
