Is that the black E1 that appeared on Top Gear when they were testing sub 10k performance cars? If I remember right it p*ssed all over the impreza.
If it is, can you remind me what was the other car was, I seem to remember they tested 3 cars.

I always mix in the right circles - you should know that, Chunkster!!!!

As for it being the Evo 1 that was on Top Gear, yes, it was! And I was the eeejit who had to "say a few words" as they put it.

The other car was a Honda NSX - brought along by Honda UK. Legend has it that the car was owned by one Ayrton Senna from brand new. Tiff wasn't worried about that though and set about lunching the rear tyres in about 1/2 an hour or so!!

It was a great day filming etc - Quentin Willson is a RIGHT lad!! Darin came with me - in fact, it was Darin who got me involved - and did a write up for the mag at the time - don't know if he has any copies left.

And of course, I've got the whole thing on video - including the official BBC "rushes" as they call them in the trade (!) - the bits they didn't use in other words!!

Does anyone have facilities for "digitising" video onto PC?
