The number of visitors at the top left has gone from a huge great long red number to a row of 6 green digital looking 8s

Has this happened to everyone?

mine has been like that from day 1 on my computer at home...at work it shows the number..

Mine was ok until I installed some new software, so I'll blame Ryan! :D
