I have just had a serious problem with my drummonds - all four are leaking! Only a year old and after 12 trackdays, they are leaking badly.

I can't afford to have this kind of unreliability. I would have stuck with them,but there is NO ONE who can service them in the UK. They need to go back to Australia to be turned around.

So - I have junked them and turned to Ohlins instead. They can do overnight service. Am looking forward to what should be the best dampers available for the EVO. Cool.....

Perhaps people should stick with Cusco/Leda etc..... or DMS need to get a service agent here.

Blade, It's normal for the joints to leak after more than one year they just need to be serviced.
You mean that in all uk there are not suspension specialists that can rebuild them?
Here in France there is STAC, they can almost rebuild any shock, and the made their own ones with bilstein hydraulics, you dont need to have the standard parts to rebuild drummonds just a professional

Maxi - I was told that these didn't need rebuilding when I bought them. However, the big problem is that there is no local servicing.

Claudius contacted STAC for me, and they could repair them but it would take too long - they still needed parts from DMS.

I bought Ohlins instead - they are 50 miles away from me and can service the shocks in 1 hour :D

They didnt necessarily, only probably need parts from DMS.

You made the right decision in getting the Öhlins with local service! (an expensive decision though!)

Unfortunately, I will still drive away from you because:
- my car is set up right
- I have no intention to become 80 years of age one day :D

So finally is DMS a good Suspension?I have sit on one of my friend's EVo4 and it feel so comfortable!!(Compare to my GAB) Mine's one is ####ing bumpy!!I feel like dancing on the road,and it's not good enough on the track as well....I am thinking to change to DMS...Ohlins is too much for me,...

It depends how you set them up, they should be good for road and track use.

Why dont you ask Tony if he will sell them on to you after the rebuild since he's getting Öhlins?

They are fine... I just can't live with the rebuild delay as there is no one here who can rebuild them.

I am getting them refurbed then selling them on.
