Why doesnt the MLR have a club magazine for its memebrs !!!!!!!
( almost a joke , if it wasnt true !! )

Funny, but at the same time, not funny.

Just remember, the same guys that produce the MLR magazine have full time jobs, organise the Supercar Rally Day, track days and lots of other stuff all in their 'spare' time.

Its YOUR club too, if you can think of a way you can help to make it better, just offer, salary NIL just like the rest of us.

When you do eventually get your magazine, just shout up if you need assistance in turning the pages :D

A club is all about everyone in that club helping each other, sharing info, advising fellow members etc, not just most sitting back while a few run around like blue arsed flies!

Without wanting to start WW3, I thought that getting mags was part of what the membership fee was for ??
Or is the membership fee for something i'm not getting ??

I am not moaning by the way just wondered when it will be issued. Like Moses I was interested in reading about Blade's motor in print, seeing as he no longer posts here :(

If I can help in any way then I will. Trouble is there is not that much EVO activity up in Scotland. We managed to get about 6 cars for a rolling road day and are still in the process of planning a meeting. I usually end up meeting with the Scooby guys at trackdays or tagging along with their other events cause there's more about :rolleyes:

I'd guess it'll be "when it's done". Darin & Brian always intend for the magazine to be regular and on time, but there are only so many hours in the day. As Teri says, the magazine is produced by volunteers who aren't being paid for it.

We managed to get about 6 cars for a rolling road day You might want to do a write up for the mag (extra material is always welcome).

And when the magazine's ready, no doubt you'll get a copy. You get a lot of other stuff for your membership fee too - £10 off all MLR trackdays, plus an extra £10 off voucher (which means that I've already made a profit on it this year). You get a discount on parts & services from some dealers. You get this forum. So yes, part of what you get is the magazine - but you wouldn't be happy if it was a dozen blank pages either.
