Sunday 25th Aug - Crown Courts Car Park, Toft Rd, Knutsford, Cheshire - 9am meet up.

We'll cruise up to the Peak District for a blast in the hills.

Mega roads, Optimax station opposite the meet up point.

Gaz, Dave wants to go off surfin in Abersoch with all the other Cheshire toffs - therefore if its sunny he'll be surfin in Wales - if not, with us.

Cryptwalk, come off left past the Mere Golf Club lights, follow signs into Knutsford, past Cottons Hotel, past Ron Stratton Bentley garage, across the roundabout, through the lights then you will see the Crown Courts car park on the right (opposite Shell garage) - its about 3 miles from the Mere Golf club entrance - piece of **** mate - see you then.

No way Dale, small world - last I heard Terry was flogging alloy petrol caps from that garage in Weaverham they moved to - I nearly bought my 1st Evo V from the garage next door (he used to get them in a lot)

I've forgot his second name now.

When I was 18 and I had my Pug 205GTi I used to sit outside their garage for hours, staring at the Dimma's - I so so wanted one - £5k bodykit was a tad steep back then!

I've just left a msg on Tim's mobile - he's working down in Bournemouth in the week these days.

Get yourself some new suspension !! i reckon your wife has good grounds for a divorce after today :eek: .It was good to meet all you other guys hope you all enjoyed it as much as i did. RICH W where were you? you missed the group p i s s take out of TT's 7 :D . No really steve after haveing you in my rear view mirror (when you could keep up, or was it the flames putting you off ) im starting to get used to the looks of the 7 mate. One last point the last time i saw driveing like that was on police camera action !! OH A BIG GROUP APOLOGY TO ALL THE WALKERS, BIKERS,& OLD PEOPLE FOR THE NOISE ! LIKE ANY OF US CARE !!!

Yup fantastic meet, excellent route (apart from the traffic in places) after Dave took the jump I slammed on as not to do the same god dam did he get some height (If there was an olympic medal for car jumping Dave I'm sure would win it!:D) I myself let the ground at least 4 times.

Those flames were something else I darnt go to close to your rear in the traffic for fear of being cooked.:eek:

Great run at the end mosi, proved to me 7's are not as tame as they look. ;)

Good to meet you all and look forward to the next one. :)

Shame we missed out on this.

In all honesty, after travelling the amount of miles we did yesterday and then arriving back home at nearly 4am.......would not have been good to get up at 7am for a run about in the country.

Not only that, but the 22 has only just got a brand new set of Toyos on, so they need scrubbing before they become fully effective.

They were fine after they cooled down (are they supposed to smoke like that?) :D Had a nice easy run home let them chill properly and the rear disks have gone back to there normal colour and not blue! :eek:

Going to pick up a video card this week but do be warned most of the footage is a bit wobbly to say the least. :D :lol:

Fantatic Drive what a day did not know about all those little side roads and hare pins.

My brakes took a hammering will have to bring the service forward now to get them replaced got a small oil leak coming from the rear from someware.

Will be looking out for the next one need a little more practice before them.

My stomach was in my month most of the time.

Tasty bit of roast beef for lunch thanks for a great day.

Sounds like you all had a good run out though.Dave, check out your downpipe too m8, last run i went on flattened the down pipe i landed that hard!!!

Parcel Force tried to deleiver something Saturday morning while i was at work, whether it was me new tires (probably :rolleyes: ) or me new ATE brake fluid i`ll find out Tuesday.

Suffice to say, I think I am 1 of the only VII driver that ACTUALLY drives their car ... the rest prob spend Sundays in the golf club car park !!! - i never see any VII's at these gigs ???

I've been to a few meets up and down the country, and the Northern posse are the most hardcore.... nice 1 lads!!

Some of that route was more testing than Oulton Park at times.

Dave, all you need is to weld a few nuts onto the bottom of the downpipe, screw a slide hammer into them, and once you get the exhaust hot enough, pull it back out :cool:

I now found out why EVO IV kept bottoming out on nearly every bump.

Picked up a problem with the rear suspension not sure what it is the drivers side rear is 2 inchs lower than the left.

I spoted an oil leak in Mac but did not know where it was from

Driven very slowly today very poor handling on left hand bends.

Could not get booked in till 7th September have to be on a go slow for a while.

Any sugestions as to what it may be ? cannot see any crack in the spring or any anything obvious.

Was worth it enjoyed every second.
